Meeting/Event Information

The Board meets every 2nd Tuesday, and the General Membership meetings are every 4th Tuesday. Times could vary - please refer to the calendar, newsletter, or events page for details.

Occasionally a membership meeting will have a guest speaker (posted as a separate event) or be displaced by an event on a different date. Please check the calendar, Facebook Page, or call the clubhouse if you have questions. Any member is allowed and encouraged to attend a board meeting - only board members are allowed to vote on club issues.

Come rock around the clock (at least 6-9pm) at the Sock Hop! 
Live Music with Atypical Band, Featuring Jackie Gomes. A light 50’s style dinner will be served. BYOB of your choice. Put on your dancing duds whether from the 50's or 60's or "whateva" and "Let's go to the Hop!"
All proceeds will support our scholarship program and community donation projects.

Our Shake, Rattle & Roll Sock Hop is just about upon us and we are knee-deep in planning towards the fun. If you haven't submitted your purchased and unpurchased tickets please do so.

 In order to have a very successful event there is a lot of behind-the-scenes footwork, prep work, and teamwork needed.  Once again, I am asking for assistance with the following items listed.  Please respond to this email letting me know how you would like to assist.

 Thursday, October 19th - 11:30 - 4:00 p.m. (Need Volunteers)

Decorate, set up, kitchen organization, and some food prep.

 Friday, October 20th - 2:00 - 5:00 pm  (Need volunteers)

Food Prep and finalize set-up.

 Saturday, October 21st - 4:30 pm (Need volunteers)

Kitchen Assistants - Food Prep and set up the stations, food, drinks, etc.

                                 Set out the plates, napkins, cups, and cutlery.

                                 Make sure food items or ready to be placed on the serving table with serving utensils included.

 Registration Set-up (Lucy & Shirley) (No volunteers needed)

Kitchen Assistants

Monitors for hall & table clearing/clean-up

 After the event (Volunteers needed)

Kitchen Clean-up - Wash dishes and put away all items, food, etc.

Hall clean-up and replacement of tables, and chairs.  Remove decorations and close all windows.

Remove trash from restrooms/kitchen and take it away.
